Q2: How to purchase the 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+ and other kits?

The 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+ and other kits are on sale. You can search 70mai Dash Cam Pro  Plus+ or 70mai Hardware Kit on Aliexpress or Amazon.

Q3: How does the hardware kit work?

The hardware kit draws power from the car battery. But not all the time, the dash cam will consume power only when it is recording a parking surveillance video. 

Q4: Why does Dash Cam Pro Plus+ not support Parking surveillance mode without a 70mai hardware kit?

The 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+ and 70mai rear camera consume a lot of power while being activated, using the battery to supply parking surveillance power might lead to a low battery or other special problems.

Q5: What’s the differences between Pro and Pro Plus+?

Our brand new 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+ is a fully upgraded version of the Dash Cam Pro!

Q6: Where can I find the online manual of the dash cam Pro Plus+?

Q7: How to delete your personal data?

You can delete your data in our 70mai APP by yourself. First you can find settings in 70mai APP, then enter user rights center and choose the delete data button. Please contact us if the problem is not resolved yet.

Q8: Where can I purchase extra electrostatic sticker?

Q9: What should I do if my video cannot be played normally or I want better video qulity?
You can use pot player, VLC or MPC to play the videos if there is some problems when you play the video or the video quality isn't very good.

Q10: Dose it resist heat ?

In general, the working temperature for dash cams is -10℃~60℃. Heating is a natural thing. What's more, our dash cam can resist heat itself. CE certification report has this related standard for safety. There is no worry about this issue. If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know.

Q11:Do you have a service center in our country?

Sorry to tell you that currently there is no service center in your country. For general questions, you can refer to our dash cam's FAQ, user guide and user manual. Regarding other problems about your dash cam, you can contact your seller directly to ask for help. If you have any other suggestions, please send your suggestion to us via help@70mai.com.

Q12: Can I use the third party's hardwire kit?

To avoide the hardwire kit malfunction due to device incompatibility, it is recommended to use a hardwire kit from 70mai brand.

APP Questions:

Q1: How to receive the verification code?

1. Some emails can not receive the verification code immediately because of the server delay. The verification code should be received in 30 minutes.

2. You can use another email or use Facebook to log in directly if the sign-up verification code takes too long to receive.

Q2: How can I see the live rear image in the 70mai app?

The 70mai APP doesn't support the live image switch function yet. You can press the first button on the left side to switch the live image in your Dash Cam.

Q3: How to connect the device while the phone has already connected the device's WiFi?

1. Please open the location authorize of the 70mai APP in the system setting list for solving this problem.

2. Please check whether your device is correct or not. Smart Dash cam and Dash cam 1S are totally different.

3. Please make sure that your wifi password filled in is correct.

Q4: What is the Wi-Fi password of the dash cam?

Press the function below icon to enter settings, select System settings > Wi-Fi hotspot, the hotspot password will be displayed on the dash cam screen.

Q5: How to download 70mai APP?


Please search 70mai on Google Play to download the 70mai APP in your area.


Please make sure that after you log in to your account outside of mainland China, search for 70mai in the APP Store to download the 70mai APP in your area.

Q6: How to download video from your 70mai dash cam?

You can follow the instruction below to download your video to local album.

Hardware Questions:

Q1: How to solve the automatically restart problem?

The majority of the automatically restart problem is caused by the power supply or Micro SD card, please try the solution step by step:

1. Move your Pro Plus+ to your house and use another charging cable to connect the power resource.

2. Please use another Micro SD card if step 1 doesn't work.

3. Please take a short video and share the link to us via help@70mai.com if the step1&2 don't work. So we can help you solve this problem.

Q2: What is the largest memory card size that is supported?

You can use a 256GB  Micro SD card in your 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+.

Q3. What memory card does Dash cam support?

Dash cam supports microSD cards with the capacity of 16GB~128GB and a read/write speed of Class 10 and above. Some microSD cards with other capacities and lower levels may also be used, but we do not guarantee the effective recording. Low-level SD cards may cause slow writing and video recording errors.

Q4: Can I activate parking surveillance mode without a 70mai Hardware Kit?

No, the Parking Surveillance Mode can only be activated by installing the 70mai Hardware Kit.

Q5: What is the "recording enable / disable" function in the "System Setting" menu?

The sound recording will be turned off after you select "disable" .

Q6: How do I view both the rear and front recording ay the same time? 

You can switch front to back via the left button. And the front and back videos cannot be put into one screen at the same time.

Firmware Questions:

Q1:How to upgrade the firmware?

Here is the upgrading path in 70mai APP:  Download 70mai APP---Enable Pro Plus+ hotspot and connect your cell phone the device------ Tap the app top-left icon---- Choose My device------Download the latest firmware----Reconnect your cell phone and push the firmware to the Pro Plus ----Connect the power resource and wait until the update succeeded

Q2: Does the Pro Plus+ support voice control?

No, the Dash Cam Pro Plus+ doesn't support voice control.

Q3: How do I switch it from km/h to MPH?

You can enter video settings---speed/latitude---speed unit to change.

Q4: How to activate parking surveillance mode?

The parking surveillance mode can only be activated by installing the 70mai hardware kit. You will be able to enable the parking surveillance mode in the video settings list after installing the hardware kit.

Q5: What can I do if I can not connect the wifi of the device?

1. Please open the location authorize of the 70mai APP in the system setting list for solving this problem.

2. Please check whether your device is correct or not. Smart Dash cam and Dash cam 1S are totally different.

3. Please make sure that your wifi password filled in is correct.

Q6: How to turn on/turn off the voice recording?

1. You can click the first button on the left side while disconnecting the rear camera to turn on/off voice recording.

2. Please use MPC. VLC or Pot player to play the video if use PC to play the videos.

Q7: Why parking surveillance function doesn’t work?

The working principle of parking surveillance: it is the same as recording video in emergency situations. It uses a gravity sensor (G-sensor) to sense, wake up the driving recorder and record video.

Under normal circumstances, it is difficult for a person to push the door forcibly to simulate a large impact or acceleration similar to an accident. Therefore, it is normal that it doesn’t record an emergency video when shaking the door forcibly.

Q8: How many languages does Pro Plus+ support?

Currently Pro Plus+ supports 8 languages. They are English, Russian, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese. And we will add Thai in the near future.

Q9: How to solve the "calibration failed" problem?

The majority of the "calibration failed" is caused by the inaccurate installation, please check the guide below to solve this problem:


Q10: What is the parking surveillance mode?

After the parking monitoring function is enabled, when the device is powered off, it will enter the parking monitoring mode. When the car encounters a collision while parking, the device will automatically record a parking monitoring video.

Tapping the windshield or slamming the door will not activate the parking surveillance recording.

Q11: How can I turn off my dash cam automatically if my car supplies power all the time?

Please follow the path below to turn off the dash cam automatically after parking the car: System setting——Turned off automatically in parking——Choose the opinion you prefer.

Q12: How can I change Chinese to English version?
70mai Dash Cam do not support the switch from Chinese to English and it may cause the incompatibility of the two versions. Please contact your seller to get an English version. If you need any help, please contact us via help@70mai.com.

Q13: Does the dash cam support time-lapse function?

No, there is no time-lapse function currently. If feasible, it will be added into later firmware.

Q14: How many languages does this dash cam support?


Q15: What ADAS includes?

There are three functions in ADAS. They are Lane departure warning system, forward collision warning system and Forward Vehicle Start Alert systerm.

Q16: Does it record the front cam if the back cam is on the screen and vice versa?

The front and back cam can record videos simultaneously and you can watch the videos in your album.

    I just installed 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+, All features are function including ADAS, except GPS & route did not working. Since GPS did not working, then the speed indication also did not shown.

    Hi, yes same issue as above with video recordings and photos do not contain speed and gps data. 1.0.6ww firmware version, 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+. Further, Synchronization of Driving Route from device to mobile app always failed.

    Hi, Pro Plus+ doesn't support voice control, but you can connect it with 70mai APP to control your dash cam. What's more, where did you watch this advertisment for voice control? Could you please send it to us?
